“Memory Chalice” is a rotating multifunctional centerpiece, its various functions coming together in a form resembling a figure in a stiff, arms-extended posture, very loosely strutting. The concept of what a table can be is considered through childhood memories of weekly family gatherings, the adults smoking and drinking etc in a darkened room around a low circular coffee table with a rotating center. The form is refined but the finish reflects the chaotic and messy nature of those memories.
