Knob Box no. 24, designed in collaboration between ARWIL Studio and Genlore Woodcraft, explores the idea is “semantic satiation” through the excessive use of cabinet hardware. Each box is unique, combining traditional carpentry techniques with the the patina of found consumer objects (knobs, lining material). Both Wilson of ARWIL studio and Zarovy of Genlore are based in Madison, Wisconsin.
