Argonaut Studio is the Detroit-based design and art practice of Jason Kehdi, creating furniture at the intersection of architecture, nature, and speculative world-building. Working across new and reclaimed materials Kehdi balances careful planning with an intuitive response to material, form, and construction. The studio’s work imagines a future in which furnishings and structures are shaped by their surroundings, inviting curiosity, familiarity, and a sense of the sublime.
