Drawing on several inspirations, we designed this bed thinking about what we would want in our home. A simple platform frame rests on a sturdy base with some classic wedged tenon joinery. The slatted headboard is cantilevered off the platform keeping this robust bed still feeling light. Moving is easy as the whole bed breaks down to be able to fit up tight Philly staircases or ship flat. Shown as king size in reclaimed heart pine.
